Overview
South Texas College of Law Houston (STCL) is Houston’s first law school and offers an ABA-accredited J.D. degree through both full-time and part-time schedules. Located in downtown Houston, the school attracts a diverse student body from across the country. However, their existing website was outdated and did not accurately convey the institution’s strengths or the value of its diverse student population and faculty.
Challenge
STCL’s previous website struggled with outdated design and disorganized content, making it difficult for prospective students and faculty to fully appreciate the school’s offerings and community. The website failed to engage users effectively and did not reflect the dynamic and vibrant nature of the institution.
Solution
Blue Atlas Marketing undertook a comprehensive redesign of the STCL website, focusing on updating the content, enhancing user experience (UX), and better organizing the information architecture. We created a modern, engaging design that reflects the school’s diverse community and academic excellence. The content was rewritten and reorganized to ensure clear communication of the school’s programs, values, and unique advantages.
Results
Improved User Engagement: The new website design and content organization led to increased engagement from prospective students, faculty, and visitors.
Positive Feedback: The updated website received positive feedback from students, faculty, and alumni, who appreciated the improved design and more accessible information.
Enhanced Communication: The reorganized content effectively communicates STCL’s programs, values, and the benefits of attending Houston’s first law school, helping to attract a more diverse applicant pool.
Modernized Digital Presence: The revamped website now accurately reflects STCL’s status as a leading law school in a vibrant, dynamic city, strengthening its appeal to prospective students.
